about

My second and final album for Novamute (Mute Records). It was officially released in 2005, but recorded in Barcelona 2004.

I experimented with lyric writing and vocal treatments on this record. I invited some of the artists around me at that time to contribute elements, which I would then use to kickstart surreal songwriting ideas, a kind of Cadavre Exquis. The reception to the final album was mixed. I later felt the need to separate my song writing ideas from my electronic music. That decision eventually lead to me kicking off a band project called 'Night Of The Brain' (2009) whilst simultaneously tracking a pure abstract techno album called 'The NeverEngine' (2006) . Nevertheless, many fans still love the mysterious coded icy scifi story being told on Station 55 - the music of beings surviving the end of their literary worlds.
